BIOL 1322: Nutrition and Diet Therapy I

This 3.0 credit course introduces general nutritional concepts in health and disease and includes practical applications of that knowledge. Special emphasis is given to nutrients and nutritional processes including functions, food sources, digestion, absorption, and metabolism. Food safety, availability, and nutritional information including food labels, advertising, and nationally established guidelines are taught.

This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course.

The total cost is $570 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for grades 9-12+.
