5th Grade Math - Semesters 1 & 2

This is a fully online, self-paced Fifth Grade Math course. Students develop fluency with addition and subtraction of fractions and explore multiplication and division of fractions in limited cases, including unit fractions divided by whole numbers and whole numbers divided by unit fractions. They extend division to two-digit divisors, integrate decimal fractions into the place value system, and develop fluency with operations involving whole numbers and decimals to hundredths. Students also develop an understanding of volume.
