3D Printing for Kids II: Designing & Creating

This fully online, self-paced course builds on foundational 3D printing skills and introduces more advanced design techniques. Students will create more detailed models, learn problem-solving strategies, and explore how 3D printing is used in real-world applications.

By the end of the course, students will design and refine their own creative projects while strengthening their digital design skills.

Parent Note: Students may benefit from support when using design software and completing multi-step projects. Note: A 3D printer is not included with this course. Students can still complete all design activities without a printer, but access to a 3D printer is recommended for printing physical models.

This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your studentÕs success.
